If nobody has claimed them yet I could give those continental city ride tires a home on a new single speed commuter I'm working on. PM sent
Free tires
I have a pile of tires, it needs to become smaller:
First come, first serve.
IRC Mythos 29x2.1 -pair (front and rear) plenty of life left. Kevlar bead
Bontrager XR 29x2.25 - pair (front and rear) wear is about 50% worn, still serviceable, kevlar bead.
Continental City Ride 26x1.75- pair. Sturdy tires, never used. Wire bead
CST Pro 700x23. pair. Forget the model name, standard road tires with extra puncture protection. kevlar bead, maybe used a few times?
I'd be interested in the CST Pro's. How should I contact you?
Sorry folks, everything is claimed.
Expect more stuff to be to posted, too much stuff basement, rather it see it used than sitting around.
slightly OT, anyone have a good strategy for disposing/recycling spent tires?
You can take them to the city dump:

thanks salty. I'm easily overwhelmed by the number of different city recycling websites.
take them to your auto mechanic?
@dmtroyer Performance has a recycling bin up front for spent tires/tubes.
Were you talking about bicycle or automobile tires?
take them to your auto mechanic?
Disposal costs money as they pay someone to haul it away. There's zero chance they'll take them for free.
I think FreeRide is still taking them or might take them in exchange for a donation?
I think I have 20 or so rotting behind my place in Morningside (leaned up against the porch)
At least the last I heard, Free Ride does not want worn out tires - actually they want people to help haul old tires they already have to the dump.
New tires - I'm not sure, they can probably use them?
