FS: new women's Louis Garneau cycling vest thingy, $20 OBO

Hey ladies, or guys who would be interested in buying a lady vest:

So, I impulse-bought this fancy potentially-dorky-looking-but-useful cycling vest on Chainlove the other day. Unfortunately, vanity sizing played tricks on me. It's too big, and it would cost a stupid amount to ship it back to Utah to return it (considering that I only paid $19.99 for it). Anybody want it?

It's this kind, "ginger" (AKA red) colorway. It says it is a medium, but it is full of lies, unless you like your cycling clothing baggy, which I do not.

It would probably provide some nice windbreaking in the front. The back is mostly mesh (i.e. lots of ventilation, not for super-duper cold weather) and has a couple of pockets.

Email me at skp27@[insert first four letters of this city's name here].edu, or PM me (but email is better since PMs are screwy).

(Edited b/c I accidentally put a link to the dude version of the vest)

@pearmask "i.e. lots of ventilation, not for super-duper cold weather"

Actually this is almost ideal setup for cold weather if you use it as a top layer (and then it would not be a baggy). :) I always have problem with layered cloth being to be to warm as soon as I start to pedal harder.

chainlove can be very dangerous. ive purchased things from them because it seemed like a totally sweet deal and the timer was counting down, only to find that i wasnt actually getting a deal or i didnt really need the thing. however, i respect and envy their business model -- limited quantities and limited time really puts the pressure on people to buy.

Yep. That business model + my ADHD-style impulse control = PROFIT

Woot-Offs were an issue for me for a while, but they have less stuff that I actually want, and they only happen a few days out of the month. It is not a good thing that I found out that there was basically a neverending Woot-Off of bike things. It is an even worse thing that I found a Chrome browser extension that pops up alerts for new items.

Chainlove used to be awesome. Now I never bother to look.
