FS: Thule parts, Yakima rear rack, Topeak bag, mtb shoes etc

I'm cleaning out my gigantic bicycle parts closet and just went with a roof rack setup and would like to try get back some cash. I might have more to add later. I live in Regent Square.

- Topeak DynaPack "trunk" with rain cover - clips onto seat post. Used once for CTC - $30

- Size 44 1/2 Answer Speeder MTB spd shoes used, only on the road for a season, no cleats. - $20

- rear Mavic CXP 21 wheel and 7sp cassette. Not even close to true. - $20 obo.

- 2-4 (need to check) 700x28 tubes, two used for CTC. Not sure why I bought so many. $5 for whatever I can find (at least 3 that I can see)

Car stuff:

- Yakima KingJoe 2 (holds two bikes on a hatchback and friends have used it on a sedan), 1 broken rubber strap/clip, works. - $80

- Thule Fairing ~42", older - $40

- Thule footpack (4), you need a fit kit. I think the foot pack is #480 but am not 100% $30

It just so happens that I have found myself with a severe shortage of 700x28 Presta tubes, and I also happen to live near Regent Square. And I have $5. How convenient! I'm glad to pick them up from you, or meet you somewhere, or whatever works for you.

Want to trade the wheel for those handlebars I have? I will take the tubes off your hands as well. I have two bikes with 28s.

Bruced on the tubez! :)

Hah!

But actually if you are already meeting up to barter other parts I don't mind if you take the tubezzz.

Or if the number of available tubes ends up falling closer to the "4" end, I'm glad to share! Two would be enough to solve my present problems

Ah.. I would trade the wheel for the bars however, someone pm'd me about it already earlier so I'll let you know if they don't take it. I still need every single part for my single speed except a frame, fork and headset. =|

Pearmask, the tubes are yours. PM me, I'm home all day tomorrow if that works. Or, you two could race around the oval for the tubes. Loser pays.

I found the Yakima rear rack sedan straps too so all parts are there.

Cool. I don't have to work tomorrow so that should work. I'll try to PM you but I've somehow managed to never use the PM feature on the boards so we'll see whether I can figure it out (if not, you can email me at skp27@[insert first four letters of this city's name here].edu)

Or if we're racing for them, I'm pretty sure I forfeit right now, haha. Teh slows, I haz them

For those considering the trunk rack: I'm pretty sure every place that sells the racks sells replacement rubber straps. I need to replace mine soon...

I might be interested in the fairing. I have load bars on my Element that I can't stand to leave on bc of the noise. Does that thing help?

I'll be away all weekend but will get back early next week.

Also still have some parts that you might find useful for a SS.

Pearmask, I PM'd you back.

I've never used this particular fairing. I drive a little 3 door Yaris so it's probably too big and clunky for my ride. I have a fairing on my car now that's 6" too small so I wasn't expecting the noise to stop and it hasn't. The purpose is really to have somewhere to put all sorts of hippy stickers.

I'm home all day today, too and can drive and meet you or next week is good. Also you're welcome to try it first.

So far I've made 5 bucks.

Wheel is gone.

Someone might be interested in this Brooklyn Industries bag I have. I have never seen one before. It's tough to let go of it but I have the red one above now so I think it's time. I guess it could use a cleaning but I was never sure how to clean it it so yes, it's been on my sweaty back on numerous occasions.
