Fun rides at Seven Springs

I'm going to be heading to Seven Springs this weekend, and I'll be bringing my road bike. Being a city guy, it's always an adventure riding on country roads. Does anyone know of good rides/trails out that way? thanks.

County Line Road is nice. A great climb is from Donegal/Champion to Springs. Then go down the other side once you have passed the golf course and take it all the way to Rockwood.

The road that goes through Laurel Hill state park is amazing.

It is also a lot of fun to putz around the Villages and the other condo developments.

I would avoid rt. 31. There are some nice wide shoulders, but most people drive upwards of 60mph on that 2 lane road.

Do some Google satellite viewing. Pretty much all of the roads around the area are great unless they have been recently tar and chipped. Lots of climbs with rewarding downhills.

I would take a few hours and rent a MT. bike though. The rental shop is in the ski lodge where they do Tiny Tots in the winter - down the big set of stairs, past the bowling alley. Springs has a great system of trails and access roads to explore.
