Yeah, they talked with all the big players: you, scott, steve. and alot of plugs for Taza and OTB, and the upcoming events.
Well rounded positivity.
It was hard to find, but there is a great article on biking in Pittsburgh in the Trib Review this morning. In the "ticket" section. You can find it online at:

Yeah, that worked out.
It was a nice article and all.
The one thing I would like to see changed is thatthe article sticks with the model of "Bike trails and golf courses" that some congressman whined about. That is, it protrays bikes as a really cool form of recreation, which it is, but dammit, I use my bike to go to work and go to the store.
(Sigh) I suppose this means I need to get off my lardacious backside and write a letter to the editor.
(I did the GAP this spring, but I'm about to return to my "I get exercise and I have fun when I ride, but I do not ride FOR exercise and I do not ride TO have fun" mode.)
Mick
does this make up for that stupid article in the opinion section a few weeks ago
probably not, i doubt many people who revelled in satisfaction for that article made it past the first paragraph of this one.
Anytime the Trib says anything positive about cycling, it's a good thing. Ditto transit.
Glad to say I missed the stupid article a few weeks back
