I noticed something similar on Ellsworth outbound several weeks ago. //headscratch//
How come the sharrows on Butler street are black instead of white?
Sorry if this has been covered in the forum already, I tried searching but to no avail.
I've noticed there are clearly sharrows on Butler Street, but rather than shiny white, they are black. Is this an attempt to erase them in order to establish another bike route through Lville?
What's up?
Those are for ninjas.
This sounds like a job for the....
STEALTH DEPLOYMENT CHALK PATROL!!!!!!!
I think this is just a marking (done with cheap paint) to indicate to road crews the proper position of where to lay the thermoplastic sharrows when they come to install them.
^that. I was delighted to see the soon-to-be shadows on butler tonight. Only rode from 36th ish to 44th.. How far do they go?
Slippery when wet. Along with thermo, watch out for bus stops / intersections after a light rain.
I noticed one just past 47th on my way home tonight.
I think the last one is just before Stanton Ave.
They paint them black in Lawrenceville because it is "more hipster."
@quizbot - Is that a pictograph of the proper position to assume when attacked by giant sperm?
@imdlorax - EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
Ah, these forums are always fertile grounds for a few laughs
Maybe the cyclist is in the Lawrenceville Wiggle.
Larval Three Rivers bike racks.
