Hula Hoop Heaven
One of our on posters makes the big time!

Congrats Stef!
PS What's wrong with this pic? Three hundred sixty degree view and not a bicycle in sight!??
@Mick, it looks like that might be the hoop room. Maybe the bikes are in the bike room????
That gave me vertigo.
holy smokes! that's my room! i feel so exposed.
when I was little I had the bestest hoola hoop ever - it was clear plastic filled with water, in the water was glitter, sparkly beads, and shiny metallic ribbons, all pinks purples and light blues. It swirled and swooshed in a fantastic shimmering pinkishness as I hula-ed. It doubled as an intergalactic portal to a parallel universe when stationary (that's the power of extra glitter).
I loved it so much I wore a hole through it in one place, all the water and sparkles dribbled out, my mom threw it away and I cried.
Stef, you are completely awesome.
i've never seen that canton ave one
you can almost read the books on your shelves
I thought they were just for the kids.
You know, for the kids!
You know, for the kids!
Finally there would be a thingamajig that would bring everyone together, even if it kept them apart spatially.
You know, for the kids!
There's a pic in one of Stef's Facebook albums of a little girl, maybe 9, twirling about five hoops at once. Taken during the Arts Festival.
That's one of my favorite pictures. You can tell that girl is in heaven.
She must be a Muncie girl.
hey buddy, who's the most liquid businessman on the street?
ejwme, haha, i consider my hoops as plastic portholes as well! Yes! you should come to our jam sometime. Cuz you know, it's not just for the kids! it's a hulatta fun for everyone!
And speaking of magic, and things that are shiny and circular, check out what magically appeared when I came out of work yesterday!
NEW PARKING.
PINCH ME.
It's not necessarily magical. Places just need to get their paperwork in...
It IS magical.....isn't it?
I think it goes more like this: A bicycle or a hoop or a bike rack is a mere thing. Being on a bicycle or in a hoop or hooking your bike to a new rack is a state of euphoria.
ian, you gotta admit there is some magic involved in getting bureaucracy to work
On bureaucracies:
Have a little faith, there's magic in the night.
You ain't a beauty, but hey, you're all right.
Sometimes you've got to know the right guy. Luckily, you know me.
