i see a lot of cyclists around the burgh... but don't recognize many
i don't know if they match to names on here. why don't we have a thread where everyone posts a picture of them/their bike, so when out on the street people like me (who are getting into cycling but haven't come to any of the events posted on here yet) can recognize ya and wave.
and of course ive now realized i don't have any pictures of me or my bikes on this computer... oops.

It's polite to plug those bullhorns, since they're more likely to take a core sample of a pedestrian rather than yourself, especially if you ride near Pitt where people suicidally dive into your path. Throw in wine corks if nothing else.

Another way people who are interested in meeting other cyclists can do so is to checkout Meetup.com - I do a lot of traveling so I use this website to meet new people all the time, and it looks like there are a bunch of different kinds of bike-related groups, too.
