Junkan fixies from Tokyo to Osaka

In the summer of 2009, 13 cyclists from Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco took their fixies to the Land of the Rising Sun for an ambitious undertaking: A 350-mile tour from Tokyo to Osaka. Their goal (along with survival) was to experience a more intimate kind of travel and make a documentary of their adventure.
Interesting that they don't mention the business of how the Japanese drive on the left.
I'm guessing they had motorized support. They show tents and stuff at one point, but not much in the way of panniers or packs.
Yawn. 350 miles in a first world nation with paved roads, a high percentage of English speakers and they took SEVEN days to ride 350 miles with a van carrying their stuff.
This is a vacation, nothing ambitious about it.
god, this sucked.
