Lock bike at Incline lower lot

Sorry if I am posting too many questions about my coming visit to town but is there a place to secure a locked bike in the lower lot area of the Duquesne incline or Mon incline.  I know you can take a bike on the inclines but I was thinking about riding my bike about 1.5 miles from my hotel to the incline and then lock my bike and take a ride up the incline and then a walk along the sidewalk along Grandview Ave for something different and possibly ride the Monongahela incline also which I have never done. I have ridden the Duquesne incline multiple times after parking my car but never walked around once on top and am sure I would find the somewhat different views very interesting.  I commonly do lots of hiking and I may even decide to simply hike from the hotel if that would be better.  I plan to bring my U lock and cable. Thanks

Neither incline has a bike rack that i can recall, but there are fences near the bottom of both which you can lock to.  (I have myself biked to the Mon Incline and locked to the fence along its sidewalk.)

There are a lot of decent racks in Station Square.

You're allowed to take a bike on the Incline, definitely the Monongahela. The only restriction might be if there's a lot of peds waiting to get on. Having a bike up there might be fun: you can go exploring. And maybe just ride back down on a street (say Sycamore).

You can't take bikes on the Duquesne Incline (as far as I know). You can take them on the Monongahela Incline but have to take it in the topmost compartment of the car on the right (if you're entering at the bottom of the hill). There's no real place to park your bike at the bottom of the Mon Incline, but there's a rack just across the street at Station Square by the bus stop near Carson and Smithfield.
