Lose the Training Wheels

Looks like a cool volunteer opportunity.

I'm providing spokes to Cheryl, who is coordinating this locally. If anyone would like her contact information to pursue this opportunity, contact/pm me.

If anyone has any beat, trashed wheels with decent spokes, I need about two (wasted) wheels worth, roughly fifty spokes and nipples, to finish fulfilling the program's request. No need to derust them, or dissemble the wheel.

A little more info: June 12-17 at the Iceoplex @ Southpointe, The Children's Institute and Lose the Training WHeels will hold the 4th annual Amazing Bike Camp! This program teaches kids with special needs how to ride two-wheelers. It's not too late to volunteer!

I have been amazed at the Pittsburgh Biking Community's response to this camp. I hope we can bring it back next year!

Thanks for the spokes!

Size?

Received an answer on the "does size matter?" query (though I assure you I was much more delicate in posing the question): "In this case, size doesn't matter. I will be cutting them to make bracelets so if it would fit around a wrist, that would be great!" Cheryl.

So, in response to your question, Lyle:

"Yes, please."

(She did mention in a previous exchange she'd appreciate the nipples too.)
