The reference to Connecticut made me laugh. Northbound traffic on I-95 from NYC into Connecticut makes our Parkway East at rush hour seem like a West Virginia backroad. About 2 months ago I drove to Cape Cod and (no exaggeration) sat in stop-and-go, rush hour traffic on I-95 in Connecticut for 45 miles. Never got my truck out of third gear in 45 miles. My girlfriend could have beaten me to New Haven had she unloaded her bike at the Connecticut border and started pedaling.
