They've started doing population control in North Park I believe, our local municipality is considering something similar. Really necessary IMHO, the deer population is completely out of control.

I was riding with Allen when it happened. It was 11:05 am last Sunday morning - hardly dusk or dawn. It was sunny, a very pleasant day until he got hit. White-tailed deer populations are a problem and will continue to be a threat as long as we continue to sprawl houses across the countryside. We've created a great habitat for them - lots of food and few predators.

Allen is a leader of WPW Allen's Ride (Class B/C rides) on Sundays. It happened on one of his rides. :(

Yeah, what are deer doing around a forested area with farmland... Where do they get off. You'd think they used to have a whole continent or something... I mean heck, you guys hear of that irreversible climate change coming up on us in 15 years? It's not a matter of our westernized consumption habits... it's the dear https://www.google.com/maps/@40.750036,-79.9435135,1187m/data=!3m1!1e3 As far as I know, this is pretty rare. I've been hit by several cars, but I never thought population control was the solution

Really? It's a pretty basic concept: the fewer cars there are on the road, the less likely you are to be hit by one. I thought an intelligent, enlightened person like you would understand simple arithmetic. Oh well.

Well I also got left hooked at an intersection at night when there were no other cars around A bunch of cautious deer are okay and don't cause accidents. Car drivers are the same way. It's usually only the erratic ones that cause problems.
