OT - 3rd Annual Beer Pairing Dinner - December 1st

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Culinary Program will be hosting its 3rd Annual Beer Pairing Dinner and Reception on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010. The reception will consist of hors d'ouerves and tastes of different beers by Victory Brewing Company, and a gift basket raffle.

Dinner will be about five courses (maybe more), each paired with a different beer. The menu is created and prepared by my Event Management class.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

What we're looking for are:

People to attend!

Businesses to make tax-deductible donations of things like gift cards, merchandise, event tickets, etc.

Whether you're affiliated with the business, or can simply make a suggestion of a business we should try to solicit, your input is welcome!

All proceeds go to the EDMC Scholarship Fund.

For those of you who are interested, here are some pictures from last year's dinner:

At the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (420 Blvd of the Allies, you may know it by Creation Rex standing outside). The reception will be in the gallery on the first floor, and the dinner will be in the Taste of Art Restaurant on the 9th Floor.

Once ticket prices are determined, they will go on sale, and you can contact my teacher Roger Levine (who owns Who New? Retro Mod Decor on Butler st.), and the email/phone for buying tickets will be posted here.

one reason to attend (at least the reception): Bike pittsburgh just donated tshirts, a water bottle, and a ton of cycling info to the gift baskets! Raffle tickets will be being sold before and during the reception, you can buy them there, or contact me beforehand to participate!

You don't have to attend the dinner to win the gift baskets, but it would be more fun :)

Raffle ticket info available on request

We also currently have countless restaurant gifts, coffee from la prima and nicholas coffee, and we're in the process of trying to collect more!

Hope to see you there!
