I'm hoping I can tap the brain power here...does anyone know of a local source for a selection of new or used hydrometers (for brewing, cheese making or anything else) and/or general glass labware? It's for an art project, so I'm trying to find a place with a selection of things to browse. It seems all the universties have gone all on line with their ordering.
In my previous work, I used hydrometers, and graduated cylinders of varied volumes and all were purchased online. I'm not aware of any local construction material testing laboratory that purchases their glassware from local storefronts.
The last time I visited the reuse shop on the 2nd floor of construction junction they had some lab pipets, glass slides, and other assorted stuff from one of the hospitals. There wasn’t a ton of it, but you may find what you’re looking for and for cheap. They were suppose to move the shop to the first floor last week though, so look for it there
