OT yet not - How to remove Spam?

Is there a proper BPGH procedure to have a spam thread removed from the board?

There's some gray area (there have been actual bike product vendors interacting with us like real humans that initially came across as spam, and sometimes real posts look like spam at first glance but develop into real threads) but is there a way for us board users to quickly engage the appropriate person to the possible presence of spam?

I can think of lots of ways to try to do it, but for each I can think of drawbacks (not to mention creating lots of spam emails). So I'm hoping BPGH people/moderators can lay it out crystal clear for me.

If this is explained elsewhere and I'm an idiot, I'll thank whoever posts the link to it and apologize to everybody else in advance.

A different forum I post on lets you report individual posts (sometimes for post content, but mostly because of spam/bots). That would be cool, since it cuts down on the number of unnecessary posts (which would be gifs from me, most likely). It it's a feature that's available on this type of board, it would be cool to have it!

I can remove spam - just let me know via email directaxis57 [at] gmail.com. I usually let erok know that I've edited/removed anything unless it's so blatant that he would just say "go ahead, delete it!" Contacting erok directly works, of course.

nice, thank you TD.

Erica, your gifs are necessary and poignant. I never knew a gif could be poignant, but you have shown me the light. And the hilarity.
