This ride was great. I was on too many new roads to count. Lena and I had a super fun time.

Yeah this was a very well planned ride. Loved the route... Except for brush creek road.. I was within an inch of getting nailed. A tractor trailer grazed my shoulder.

We had a great time, though it was pretty interesting to see what a different kind of struggle riding can be, depending on so many factors. I think I was a little over-confident after riding across the state. We are both in good shape and pretty strong right now, but allergy season is kicking my ass so hard that I was slow and felt like lead and itchy-eyed and foggy-brained for a lot of it. Neither of us are very good at dealing with hot weather either. Throw in a late start and man, this was a tougher ride than I expected. Secretly enjoyed watching a grown man have a total meltdown at the 40-mile rest stop because it meant that even if physically we were struggling a bit, we weren't emotionally busted at that point. We talked to him back at the park and he was fully restored. His pal said something like "yeah, you really lost your sense of humor back there." Happens sometimes, I guess. Most drivers gave us lots of room but I had a couple pretty close buzzes too. I feel like we laughed a lot on this ride.

I'm so disappointed to have missed this ride...I am a wedding DJ, and it seems that every time I have an early Sunday morning ride planned, my Saturday night wedding goes overtime. I got home at 1:50 AM, and still had to unload the car. Discretion got the better of valor. Glad to hear it went well, and I hope to ride it next year!

Did I mention that the vegan food at the end was amazing?

Oh man, yeah, we were so amped to see the alpacas! I loved them! They looked at us like we were aliens.

Nice pics, Mikhail! Thank you for sharing. The day was beautiful and this was a great ride. I helped marshal the 25 miler, which was an awesome experience. My first time marshalling an event and we only had to stop once to check on a mechanical—in the end, I helped fix no flats (which I count as a severe win...) and only had to stop that one time. We did help navigate a few riders through some turns. It was a great day to ride, and I found it amusing when it was pointed out to me that our bike-commute to/from the city to the ride was longer than our leg of the ride itself. Oh, and the rootbeer was AMAZING. Anyone who didn't have it missed out.

Oh and the ride raised almost $10,000 for a nonprofit that supports local sustainable agriculture. Triple win.

This was great! Some amazingly beautiful, quiet roads. My only disappointment was that I had to leave before lunch and beer was served...

It was an absolutely gorgeous ride, and I only got honked at a few times. It was nice to see familiar faces, and the absurdity of riding a 32 mile round-trip to marshal a 25 mile ride was a nice realization. My only disappointment: there was a house along the route with a sign that said "Local Honey For Sale/ Self-serve on Front Porch." Alas, when I went up to the front porch, there was no honey to be found. Great ride, great food, great beer. What an awesome Sunday.

http://imgur.com/a/F9N6w -- a little bit more. I had a pretty crazy day as a SAG driver. It started OK and I picked up first two riders due to knee issues at Frankferd Farm around 11:36 am. This was a 50 mile ride. As I was delivering them back to start I got two more calls. One lady was tired just getting to Brownsdale road, the other one got lost and the only info originally was that she is somewhere on a Perry highway. And both kept moving! It took around an hour to find the first one. She was slightly of course and gave me at some point exact intersection and waited for me there. And then it took 30 minutes to get to the second one -- at this point she gave me an exact address. She almost got to Marine State Park, missed all rest stops. :) So we got back at 3:10pm. Changed one tube (gave my spare that I keep in the car, at the end lady and her husband found me and gave another tube back to me, thanks!). Helped to put some air (a big pump in the car). Did not care any spare tires and got request foe one. :( John (other SAG driver) picked the guy up. Actually the problem originally was with his girl friend bike and he gave his tire to her and was patiently waiting for John. Things I did have a chance to fix -- got call from Leah that markings at Crowe Ave on 25 mile ride had been washed out. I stopped at Lowes and got paint but never made it to Crowe Ave in time. :( Next time I need to care extra paint with me.

There was a woman with an SLR-type camera (that I assume was a pro photographer) taking pics along Logan Rd and througout the 25-mile course. Anyone know where those pics might be?

Nice pics. You got one of me on a bike with more than one gear!! I was talking to the unicycle guy at the jump jam later in the day. He did the 50 miler on a unicycle!!!

Thanks for the pictures Mikhail. A++ job on cowbelling as you drove sag. That was great. I thought the 70 mile route was really great -- so many new roads I had never been on before and I do quite a bit of riding out of NP.

I've talked to him too but I did not take any pictures. He had a geared fixed unicycle. :) Actually unicyclemike told me most about this unicycle. You can see the unicycle right at the door:

I believe it was at Three Degree Road (or Valencia Rd where one should continue straight to Three Degree Road for 50 mile route). :) I am the guy shouted: "You've made it!" at parking lot at the end of day.

oh awesome! I wondered who that might've been! Nice to sort of half-met you!!
