Pictures of uncleared city sidewalks wanted

A group of people (that may include me) are trying to document snow and ice covered sidewalks at https://twitter.com/SlippySidewalks. If you have any good pics, please send them to that account, or post them here and I can repost.  Also include the location if you can (as specific as you'd like) - it would be cool to get examples from as many areas of the city as possible. My hope is that if we can document the problem well enough, the city might actually be convinced to do something about it. It certainly seems to have worked for drivers whining about snow plows.

Do you mean city sidewalks where it is clearly the city who maintains them, or city sidewalks in front of private homes, etc, where it is duty of the owner to maintain them?

either one - we're just trying to give some sense of the magnitude of the problem.

Slightly off topic, but I've found the boroughs where I live are very willing to give citations to businesses and private residences who do not clean their sidewalk after a very reasonable period of time. So far, after complaining to both Aspinwall and O'Hara, I have gotten both of them to give out 7 or so citations for unclean sidewalks in the last week. They both went out about an hour after I complained to the city managers by email. It's less about the money with a citation and more about the behavior change in the people that own the buildings and are responsible for the sidewalks Aspinwall even put out a reverse 9-1-1 to its citizens reminding them that they needed to clean the sidewalks within 12 hours of any snowfall. I wish Pittsburgh was this aggressive with sidewalk cleaning.

Vacant buildings are a problem. The entire Macy/Kaufmann's side of 5Av from Scrip Way to Smithfield was still a mess on Friday morning. It had become a two-tracker, walking paths for single-file travel. Sorry, didn't get a picture. But jeez, guys, the snow came down over the weekend. Five days and still not clear? Strawberry Way was untouched its entire length.

The sidewalk across from One Wild Place on Butler is ridiculous and the Zoo sidewalk NEVER gets cleared that I know of.  I don't have pictures, but might try and get some at some point.

One I wanted to get from this season was Browns Hill Rd near Parkview. I have a friend who's not only transit dependent but wheelchair bound. He can usually get to the inbound bus by that corner because there are some businesses near that, but nobody touches the outbound stop so he can't get off the bus. I have a bunch of photos from the 2016-17 winter near this spot. I'll see if I can dig them up and post somewhere.

That's a very narrow sidewalk there too.

Here’s the very spot, including my friend in his wheelchair waiting for the light to change so he can get across. It doesn’t look all that bad here, as it was late Saturday and a lot of the snow had already melted. But back up this picture four days and imagine trying to come down a bus’s wheelchair ramp onto an unplowed sidewalk that had iced over. https://twitter.com/bus15237/status/955220268993138692
