The reverse of this route is one option. You'd have to add a leg from town to Neville Island, but these roads are all quite rideable.

I've never taken it north, but Route A going south is pretty nice once you get south of I 70. I'm guessing it's OK once you get 35 miles out of Pittsburgh.
