Protocol for bike on bike collision

Got hit today by another cyclist. Was so shocked, pissed, and simultaneously grateful that she didn't completely lay me out that I didn't exchange info (something the wife later told me I should have done). Bruised up, going to have to check the rig later, but for if this happens again in the future (hopefully not), what should riders do?

Sorry that happened to you. Maybe next time (hope there isn't one) use the car crash recommendations as a guideline? http://bike-pgh.org/in-a-crash/

My sister was seriously hurt in a bike an bike accident about 2 years ago. I think she'd say get as much information as possible, up to and including what you would get for an auto accident, if possible. But, there are many instances in which you will get far less. Glad to know you ae not seriously hurt. Don't want too many details, but did this happen on the street, sidewalk, trail? At intersection? Helps me envision/plan for what I might do in same situation....

@Swalfoort. Point State Park, intersection of the underpass ramp and Ft. Duquesne Bridge.
