Reminder - February Midnight Flock tonight!
Tonight is Midnight Flock--it looks like the weather will be pretty pleasant.

Midnight Flock is a Flock of Cycles group bicycle ride in Pittsburgh, PA that meets at 11:59pm on the first Friday of the month at Dippy by the Carnegie Library on Forbes Ave.
The pace is significantly faster than the other Flock of Cycles rides, but no one gets left behind. If you hate hills, this is may not be the ride for you.
We usually ride 15-30 miles depending on the night, with the group slowly dropping off around 1:30-3a.
This ride stops at red lights and acts courteously to all traffic (motor vehicles and pedestrians included).
Lights are MANDATORY and helmets are STRONGLY encouraged.

I rolled up the same time as Ian, and met Alex, who had never rode a Midnight Flock before.
We rolled out up Forbes, to Beeler, to Neville, got honked at, and pulled over because I realized I didn't tighten my front skewer when I changed tires earlier tonight. As I tightened my skewer, we watched the kid who honked get pulled over. We got back on the road and rode past the pulled over Impreza wagon and it looked like the driver was taking a field sobriety test. I chuckled at him and then realized I had a flat. We pulled over and I patched it, but as I inflated it I realized it was still leaking. Kayla came and picked me up, and Ian and Alex continued on.
