OMG. When is it this year? Can we dress as robots or dinosaurs or somesuch?

It starts tomorrow and goes until Sunday I believe.

I think it was Thurs.-Sun.? I'm not much for dressing up but we stumbled upon it last year out riding in a group of about 7, wound up chatting with a few people in full costume, who were some of the nicest people ever, shot a bunch of photos, i think we made it to the 6th? floor of the hotel just wandering..It was def. one of the best times ever as i had just moved to Pitt. I think we left OTB after some sprints so people had on the 42Below jerseys they had won, so we told everyone we were sponsored, in town for a race..Hahaha.

It was a blast. I figure Saturday we can hit up OTB for some drinks and then head to the convention? I work all day and won't be back until 9:30-ish, but I am free after that.

Sounds perfect dude! Anyone else that wants to join let's meet at OTB at 9pm!

I'll try to meet you guys for that tomorrow. I encountered some of the furry folks downtown today, tails and all, what a surreal experience.

There's a Bicycle Seat Art Show going on at OTB tomorrow night.

I'm not sure if that makes OTB a better or worse place to meet at.

$5 cover.

This sounds like fun and should be right around the time I get up from my nap-after-riding-home-from-work.

Do we want to move the meeting spot? I only plan on staying for a drink and then going off to find furries.

Moving it sounds good to me. No sense making everyone pay a cover if they are only interested in joining the furry fun.

I might head over early anyway and check out the seat art on my own.

hough's is a pretty sweet place. solid beer selection, and very good prices for the good stuff.

Hough's it is. I work until 9, so I won't be there until 10 or so.

nick... i'm not going to lie. after you guys bailed, i went back and checked the scene at the dance/rave for a while. it was just too surreal to give up on just yet. pretty amazing

I had a feeling you were going to. I definitely would have stayed longer, but I was looking forward to something else.

Best line of the night was in the elevator, from the D half of a wolf-styled BD/SM pair... spies us cyclists with our helmets, and sneers "what are you gonna go BIKING or something?" and then seconds later as the elevator door opens chases after his leather-clad lupine submissive, screaming "get back here you BAD BITCH!"

also, i'd like to point out that this was probably the only overtly sexual aspect of the evening we observed. everyone else was just hangin' out and partying in the fursuits. it was very fascinating.

That will go down as my most memorable elevator ride.
