Great to hear! Thanks for sharing, Timito.
thanks for the advice
Want to thank those of you who suggested a new approach dealing with drivers, it's working. Instead of yelling and cursing out drivers. I started waving them through their Pgh left, sometimes I pull over and let a line of cars pass.
So the other day I'm pulled over picking up a quarter, I get back on my bike and look over, ready to get into traffic and there's one of those shuttle bus drivers from UPMC, my arch nemesis. I look at him, he looks at me, then he say's "nice day, be careful out there" this is one of the drivers I previously waved through a light, a guy I may have flipped off at some point, now we're traffic buddies. So, thanks for the advice, It's working out.
That's ok, I flipped off some prick in a SUV yesterday to maintain the balance
I've really been trying to be nicer to drivers, but it's just so hard when so many of them deserve what they get.
Maybe we need a 12 step program or something.
I yell at 2-3 dick drivers every time I ride to work, then immediately think to myself, "wow, I'm glad he didn't hear me, cause car > bike." I think I'll start bicycling with a muzzle.
I've been surprised lately at the amount of goodwill I've gotten from car drivers. I've also been reminded that sometimes when a car is honking like jerk? He isn't honking at me.
