BIKEPGH MESSAGE BOARD ARCHIVE

hey everyone sorry I haven't been on here much. between getting rid of my home internet and starting a new job I find it difficult to post anything here. I still read the posts (on my phone) but it is difficult to post much back.

I am part of a group that will be organizing a picnic / group ride in greensburg (on the bike trail) to collect food for the local food bank. the ride will be in september and while I know this is a PGH based forum I also know that at least a few of you are from the greensburg area.

I am hoping to get in contact with any groups from the greensburg area in hopes of getting the word out. I will make it a point to keep in better contact with the forums here.

The Ride is Called the Can Can Ride and I hope to have more information about it in next few weeks. it should start at lynch field and end there. the ride will be on the bike trail and be a no drop family style ride with (perhaps) a more aggressive ride as well (no promises just yet as i am looking into what we are allowed).

I know that many of the people here have organized rides in one form or another and I would welcome any advice as all.
