I was wondering if anyone in this community knows a schedule of upcoming cyclocross races in the Pittsburgh area.

I’m a beginner interested in trying a few races but most of the info I have found is outdated.

Thanks!

there used to be one a year here in murrysville. I haven’t heard it mentioned this year though.

Murrysville is cancelled this year. The links above are correct.

Thanks for the info Benzo! Unfortunately, my Saturday is already booked or I would have totally taken part in that beginners course.

Stefb, thanks! It’s funny because my username is actually the same username for my workplace. They automatically generate everyone’s using the first 5 letters of the persons last name and the 1st letter of the person’s first name. Since it worked out so perfect the nickname has stuck between coworkers and friends.

@mcdong: while we’re on the subject, when I read your name, I pronounce it “ehm-cee DONG”

would you consider that correct, or should I use the more Irish-sounding “mick-DONG” pronunciation? PLEASE settle this internal debate for me.

also, welcome to the board and junk.

@jaysherman5000 I have to admit I almost spit my coffee out in laughter when I read your comment. No one has ever busted out the “ehm-cee DONG” but I enjoy the ring.

Even though I typically go by the “mick-DONG” I encourage you to continue to refer to me as “ehm-cee DONG”

Thanks!
