I wish Levi’s had girl commuters.

Thinly veiled advertising. Their bias towards synthetic materials must have been motivated by who paid them. If I was looking for clothes I could wear in the office after biking, I would look for 100% wool, styled to look as much like work clothes as possible. Like, say, http://www.ramblersway.com/node/15109 (among many others).

Hey, FaunaViolet,

Novara (REI) has a great pair of knicker length jeans that are very much like the Levi Commuters.

I love mine and get compliments on them all the time.

For elegance and wicking comfort, it’s hard to beat wool and silk. (Sorry, vegans.)

I have the Levis Commuters, they’re pretty great all around I would highly recommend.

Betabrand’s Bike to Work line looks pretty cool (though pricy). Haven’t tried them personally but they are on my wish list.
