Tickets are normally $10 in advance and $15 at the door, but thanks to the kind people at the Science Center, we’ll be able to offer Flock riders the $10 pre-registration price at the door.
They’ll have a cash bar, and snacks will be available for purchase as well.
Note: If you aren’t 21, you are welcome to ride with us as always, but like the “21+” title implies, the post-ride Science Center event is only open to those of legal drinking age. And they will be carding, so don’t forget your ID!
–What should I bring?–
Helmets. Lights. A bike to put those lights on. Cash and your ID. And all your friends!
–What happens in the case of rain/snow/zombie apocalypse?–
On the afternoon of the ride, we’ll decide whether conditions are safe enough to ride. Look for updates here, on Twitter, and on our website a couple of hours before the start of the ride if things are looking sketchy.

I think you will have a good turn out as I have had over 20 people come to the museum today and its only 2:00 after noon. I have been letting them know about the event and at least half said they will show up ………………… Mike Brown will be at the Science Center for a demonstration.
I was impressed by the number of women who joined the ride last night. It seemed at the start that there were almost as many as men, which would be a first. I rolled video at the start of the ride, but haven’t reviewed it yet.
At the end, it was still 1:2; I counted 8 and 16.
Women cyclists are an “indicator species”, a measure of how healthy an environment is. For it to even approach being even in number gives me a good feeling and greater hope that we are doing the right thing here in The ‘Burgh.
Meanwhile, here’s part of Marcel’s little pre-ride speech.
