Nice. I need to get to one of those NAHBS one of these days.

two very sexy bikes.
I've been shooting like crazy for two days so far, with two more to go.
Pictures from 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008 all linked from one page.
Dang, those are purdy!
the lugwork on her bike is some of the most beautiful craftsmanship of any kind that i have ever seen.
re lugwork, if you look around you can see some build progress picks, i.e. http://bilenkycycles.blogspot.com/2011/02/brooks-saddles-and-woodchucks.html
I have a custom Waterford now (6 years old and have seen some of Bilenky's stuff at shops and displays when I am in Philly.
I was thinking of having Waterford do my next frame, but I am thinking maybe Bilenky after seeing that!
willie p, my own dream was to have a Mercian Vincitore Special made, sometime before I go in the hole. Before the dollar went in the toilet, their frames were screaming deals.

Eh. The lugwork is nice, but I'd be surprised if those bikes get ridden in the rain more than once. Varnished wooden rims with canti brakes, really?
They used to race track races on wooden rims, I think if built properly they can hold up.
I've had cheap alloy rims where the spokes pulled right-through the eyelets (yes, steel eyelets not just spoke holes)- in a sprint.
Well, I'm not going to go down the list enumerating everything I find ghastly about those bikes. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, as hours and hours of Discovery Channel programming will attest.
lol. I would kill for that much hair.
