Visiting Dallas, looking to rent a bike

I am headed out there today for a conference and will have my evenings free. Has anyone been to Dallas and rented? I was looking online for a forum like bike pgh, but it is paid membership to even look at the forum. Thanks.

Somebody just posted a link to a TEDx talk by a bike guy in the Dallas suburb of Oak Cliff (technically part of Dallas, per Wikipedia).

A page on "Bike Friendly Oak Cliff" with local rides and stuff (though the formatting is messed up right now):

It links to this bike shop:

Maybe they rent, or can refer you? Lots of other links on that page too.

Huh, I'd forgotten. Well, Stef could contact the bike guy in the TEDx video for advice directly, but I'm guessing he's a little busy this week. Seems he's running for Congress. (Or did he lose in the primary last spring? Not sure.)
