whatever it takes!

I was researching international franchising for a class, when I came across an article about how Melbourne, Australia's Bike Share program partnered up with 7-eleven to sell cheap helmets and encourage people to ride more.

Makes sense, a person can walk to the store, then bike home safely with their groceries :)

And I thought it was going to be someone overcoming their misgivings and posting positive feelings about riding in allegedly inclement weather.

From what I've read, the Melbourne bike share thing has been struggling, the theory is, (here come the flames) because of the adult helmet law in Oz, so maybe this will help. Of all the places in the world to have a helmet law, Australia, weird.
