Winter darkness crafty project
I found a pair of handlebar streamers that came with a kids bike, like these, and had an idea:
Why couldn't someone make some of these out of reflective material? Like this stuff:

Seems like it would be ridiculously visible. And fun! If I get so motivated I may try this, but anyone please feel free to steal this idea and go with it!

Built them around a decent flashlight and they will be bright and crazy.

I'd like to see an old-school fiber light, with about 200 strands sticking out of the bar ends, and a nice bright LED on the inside.
I got one around 1978, and with a simple 4-watt incandescent bulb inside, it made a nice night-light for the dorm/bed room. Might be really cool to see on a bike with a much brighter LED as the light source.

@ melange396 does that light help with safety and visibility or is it just decoration.

i bought it mostly for decoration, but i imagine it makes me easier to see
