About that trek 520, based on picture it may be a (not so good) hybrid 520 that replaced true touring 520 and has nothing to do with it other than having same model number.
But this Paramount makes me drool. Too bad it is not my size.
Not sure about the touring part either, but that is one nice bike.

It looks like a 1994/1995 Trek 520 that has been softened up.

@olek ummm, have to agree with tugrul on this one... I was not aware the 520 was ever replaced for a hybrid. looks to me like a 520 touring that has had the bars,stem and seat swapped out. $300 may be a bit steep, though.
