WTB: Womans Road Bike 48-50 cm/ 14-16 in

Hi! I am searching for a woman's road bike. I'm 5'3 and some change and I'm ready for an upgrade. I currently ride an old free spirit from the 80's I found in the trash. I commute enough that I want something that shifts smoothly, stops efficiently (as well as in wet weather) and doesn't weigh 5000lbs.
