In Indiana, the state legislature once declared that pi was exactly equal to 3. Evidently, they were determined to eliminate irrationality where ever they found it.

I think we ought to talk with LaHood about bicyclists having to spend more effort to go up hill than down hill. Maybe he can change the laws on that.

LaHood has never seemed that sharp but it seems like he has served well as a puppet for Obama for transportation platforms that are unnecessarily identified with progressivism in this country.
