Team Bike Pittsburgh Wins Outstanding Rookie of the Year MS 150 Award

MS150 Awards

Team Bike Pittsburgh won the Outstanding Rookie of the Year Award for raising $10,031 to help fight Multiple Sclerosis. We also took home an award for being in the top 25 overall fundraising team. We were 21st overall. Congratulations Team Bike Pittsburgh (aka Team Awesome aka Team Hot Shorts)!

As an organization that typically solicits its own donations to carry out our mission, it was an honor to take part in a bicycling event to help raise money and awareness for another organization doing great work.

The team was comprised of Courtney Ehrlichman, Brad Quartuccio, Caitlin Lenahan, Erok Boerer, Chris Lisowski, Andy Grieshop, Josh Siebert, Nathan Schaffer, Justin Cummings, Steevo Cummings, Amy Garbark, Scott Bricker, Jessie Buckner, Brian Funk, Justin Chechile, Gordon Mourachov, Loren Sloan, Dave Struthers, Dan Blumenfeld, Mike Carroll, Nicole Siri, Matt Kurpiewski, Jake Milofsky, and Brian Stagno. Thanks to everyone who participated!

We had a lot of fun! Next year we hope even more people will take part in this ride and hope to put the band back together for the Tour De Cure and help raise money for these other great causes! If enough folks are interested and we get some sponsors, we might even be able to get jerseys made.
