Five Local Businesses Offer New Discounts to Bike Pittsburgh Members

Bike Pittsburgh is continuing to expand our connections to the community by forming relationships with a number of businesses around town.

In the last week we’ve added five new businesses who have demonstrated their desire to support a bike friendly Pittsburgh by offering discounts on their products and services to Bike Pittsburgh members.

Though we are bound together initially by our love of all things bicycle, we are well-rounded people with diverse interests beyond a two-wheeled life. We know that our members are active participants in our city and do much to support local businesses. Let’s all work together to create a thriving city where bicycles are available as a safe means of transportation for everyone between 8 and 80.

Proudly show your membership card at the following businesses to demonstrate your appreciation for their generous support.

Pavement in Lawrenceville is a “neighborhood boutique featuring a creatively curated selection of shoes, clothing and hand-made accessories” and they are now offering Bike Pittsburgh members a 10% discount on everything in the store, including sale items. (I found a great pair of shoes to wear to the BikeFest party there!)

Pageboy, a new shop and salon in Lawrenceville, has been open for just a couple of months and is already diving into their support for Bike Pittsburgh. Peruse the clothes and accessories, many of which have been designed and made locally. Check out with your Bike Pittsburgh card to receive 10% off your purchase.

Ready for a new look? The Salon at Pageboy is also offering a 10% discount to Bike Pittsburgh members looking to update their coiffure.

The Priory Hotel on the Northside recently hosted the after-party for the Seersucker Spectacular ride and had such a positive experience during BikeFest that they’ve also decided to extend a discount to Bike Pittsburgh members. Next time you have friends or family visiting town, why not consider this eclectic, independent inn? They’ve offered a generous range of discounts. Save up to $50 on certain rooms — call for details and mention your membership when you book a room.

Need some caffeine to keep you going while shopping or biking? Why not pick up a pound of coffee to go from Espressso a Mano? Show your membership card for a $1 off all bulk coffee.
