FREE RIDE NEEDS KIDS BIKES!

The following is a post from the Free Ride Recycled Bike Coop.  They are in need of kids bikes for their summer youth programs. -ed.

We are calling out for you to donate those bikes you have for youth that have been sitting in your yard for the past 2 years! We need to supply our youth Earn-a-Bike programs with bikes!

What we need:

• bikes for ages 10-18
• bikes with derailleurs
• bikes with mostly working parts
• mountain bikes, road bikes, cruisers, whatever you got!

WHEN?:
* NOW! Starting now through the end of May!

What we DON’T need:
* Single speed bikes
* bikes that are extremely rusty or damaged

THANKS FOR SUPPORTING PITTSBURGH’S YOUTH!

To donate: If you want to see the shop in action or need a receipt for a tax deduction, come in during Free Ride’s open shop hours shown on their website.

If you are not in need of a tax receipt you can bring the bicycles to Construction Junction during their open hours and leave them in the collection box.
