Help make the fun happen
Do you have some free time this summer? Do you support safer streets for local cyclists and pedestrians in the Pittsburgh region? BikePGH has an opportunity for you to fill your down time while helping to make Pittsburgh a better place for your fellow bikers!
On the second Tuesday of each month, BikePGH hosts our monthly Volunteer Night at our office at 188 43rd Street in Lawrenceville! Come stuff envelopes from 5:30-7:30pm with free pizza and other people who love biking, and feel free to BYOB! Sign up for our July Volunteer Night!
Have you been to OpenStreets yet? If not, be sure to join us for biking, walking, dancing, skating, partying, and et cetera-ing in the middle of Penn and Butler for this summer’s final installment on Sunday, July 26 from 8am-12pm! Available volunteer opportunities include hanging up signs and door tags to get the word out, as well as set up, cleanup, and manning intersections and info tables! Sign up to volunteer for OpenStreetsPGH here and help us throw a party in the streets!
Kickball for a Cause
Do you like kickball and safer streets? Come represent BikePGH and table at Kickball for a Cause, the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP)’s kickball tournament that benefits BikePGH! Shifts are 8-12pm and 12-4pm on Saturday, August 1 at Mellon Park in Shadyside!
BikeFest is happening this summer from August 21-30! If you love biking, Pittsburgh, and showing off our beautiful city, volunteer to organize a ride!
Part of BikeFest, PedalPGH is the Burgh’s biggest bike ride, taking place on Sunday, August 30th. BikePGH will need volunteers to help us with bike parking, outreach, registration, and setup/cleanup, among other things. Click here to sign up!
Short on cash but still want to become a member and support BikePGH’s bicycle and pedestrian advocacy? We offer a barter membership program where in exchange for 10 volunteer hours, you can earn a one-year membership!
We hope to see you soon! Keep yourself up-to-date:
