Healthy Ride Unicorn Bike Fleet Launch this Saturday

Healthy Ride Bike Share works with local artists to deliver mobile public art

Healthy Ride is launching a small fleet of locally designed and crafted bicycles from five local artists in partnership with Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and PPG Paints.

These “Unicorn” bicycles are bikes that exist within the bike share system, but have a custom design. Five unicorn bikes will be unveiled at the PDP’s Night Market this Saturday, July 15th at 7pm. All five of these unicorn bicycles will be available for rent around the City of Pittsburgh after the event.

Healthy Ride is dedicated to enhancing the city of Pittsburgh city-wide. The unicorn bike project celebrates Pittsburgh by bringing mobile public art to its streets and engaging the local art community in an effort to further beautify Pittsburgh neighborhoods.
