The path to a safer Fifth/Forbes IS BECOMING CLEAR
Brand new bike lanes have been recently striped in both directions on Forbes from Bigelow Boulevard to Craig Street, as well as on Bigelow Boulevard between Fifth and Forbes.
But, this is only phase I of III. We need to keep this positive momentum rolling to complete second phase of the network in 2018. So please join us in thanking the City so they know they are on the right track.

New protected bike lanes on Forbes and Bigelow between Fifth/Forbes! Thank you @billpeduto, @bikepgh, @kristin_gram, @pennsylvaniadot While it’s a welcome sign for cyclists in Pittsburgh, these lanes came two years too late for Susan Hicks. Let’s remove some parking and see 25 miles of protected lanes in the next year. Or more. #safefifthforbesnow #rememberingsusanhicks
