Volunteer Feature: Bilge Yurekli
While you may not have met Bilge, you might have feeling that she looks familiar. Since January, Bilge has been a regular at our monthly volunteer nights, preparing membership mailings and introducing newcomers to BikePGH’s vision of safer streets. Though she hasn’t been a member long – just under a year – Bilge has jumped in head first. In the past year, she’s volunteered over 30 hours of her time and talent at OpenStreetsPGH, PedalPGH, volunteer nights, member meetings, and more!
It’s thanks to volunteers like Bilge that BikePGH continues to grow and thrive. Ready to learn more about Bilge and her involvement with bike & pedestrian advocacy? Keep reading!
