Women & Biking in 2018: Save the Dates

Mark your calendars for these great Women & Biking events in 2018

This past year was the best yet for Women & Biking in BikePGH’s history. More womyn and non-binary people are members of the organization and the most womyn-only programming has been held to date including bike rides, educational workshops, City Cycling classes, the Annual Forum, and coffee meet ups. We expect next year to break records again.

BikePGH’s Women and Biking Program is inclusive towards Femme / Womyn / Gender Non Conforming and non binary people of all ages and backgrounds. The Women & Biking Program works to encourage this identified group of people to incorporate bicycling into their lives and increase their representation. By opening the discussion about our lived experiences and challenges, we can assess how to better provide support and resources to ride bikes in Pittsburgh.

In 2018, you can anticipate 11 coffees, 8 bike rides, 6 classes, and 1 fantastic forum

*Dates are subject to change, but nearly set in stone.

Our first event in 2018 will be a coffee meetup. This is a great time to meet other womyn who bike, share stories, get advice, and learn about the Women & Biking Program. Save the date for Wednesday, January 24th from 8-9am. We’ll be meeting at Constellation Coffee on 4059 Penn Ave.

Another important Save-The-Date is for our 5th Annual Women & Biking Forum. Join us on Saturday, April 7th for a day of workshops, a keynote speech, lunch, and a bike ride. Let’s empower each other to learn about ourselves and our bikes!
