WMNBikePGH Ice Cream Ride on May 24th

BikePGH’s Women and Biking Program is inclusive towards to people who identify as Femme / Womxn / Gender Non-Conforming / Non-binary.

Your next WMNBikePGH ride will be even sweeter

Generously sponsored by Healthy Ride, WMNBikePGH riders will have the opportunity to get a scoop of Millie’s Ice cream during our next ride! For free! Not to mention that Healthy Ride will also be offering free Healthy Ride bikes for this occasion.

Free Healthy Ride  + Free Ice Cream = Perfect day

Typically, a regular ride is fun enough, but the added bonus of a sweet treat to celebrate ourselves is even better. Come out with your gal pals for a ride and a treat. And bring along a friend, too!

The great thing about WMNBikePGH rides is that Healthy Ride offers free bikes for the duration of the ride, meaning if you or your friend doesn’t have a bicycle, that’s no problem–we’ll have you covered.

Ride Details:

Date: Thursday May 24th
Time: 6:00pm meet, 6:15pm pedal
Location: Schenley Plaza outside of The Porch (start & finish)
Ride leader: Emily Stilwell, BikePGH Volunteer
Ride details: The route will be approximately 10 miles, and there will be some hills–this is Pittsburgh after all–but, everyone should and can ride at their own pace. This is a NO-DROP ride meaning you will never be left behind!

You must have: front and rear bike lights and a helmet to attend this ride. Be sure to do a safety check of your bike before heading out. A safety check involves something like the ABC Quick Check, meaning air, brakes, chain, and quick releases.
