Bicyclists of all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate in UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH, Pennsylvania’s largest bike ride! Registration is open for the 26th Annual UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH with 3,000 participants expected. The 2019 bicycle ride will be held on Sunday, August 25th, in South Side’s Riverfront Park.

Proceeds fund BikePGH, a non-profit, who works on behalf of the Pittsburgh community to make the city safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk.

Since BikePGH took over PedalPGH in 2012, the event has raised more than $1 Million for bicycle and pedestrian advocacy in Pittsburgh. Choose from 4 bicycle-friendly routes around the Steel City

Choose your own adventure! From a flat, family-friendly 10 miler, to a beginner-friendly 25 miler, an advanced 40 mile route, or the most extreme 62 mile route. There’s a ride for everyone!

PedalPGH ride registration includes:

– Festive rest stops with delicious snacks and drinks
– Route signage marking every turn, cue sheets, ride marshals
– Finish line festival & Post-race refreshments

Volunteer for the largest
bike ride in Pennsylvania!

It takes 150 volunteers to run PedalPGH, from helping at rest stops to riding the course as marshals, and everything in between. As a volunteer you’ll help 3000 bicyclists have an amazing ride while supporting BikePGH’s efforts to make the city safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk. BONUS: Select volunteer shifts get you free registration for a PedalPGH ride. Click here to learn more.
