Corporate Volunteering

Get involved with your community

From the start, Bike Pittsburgh has always strived to do more. In 2018, we are pursuing creative strategies to make Pittsburgh a healthier, more sustainable city. Position your business as the face of our community efforts with events such as: OpenStreetsPGH, PedalPGH,  bicycle valets and volunteer nights!

By giving your employees the opportunity to volunteer, you can transform your company culture and engage thousands of new people. Take a look at the opportunities below, and let us know if you’re ready to connect your business with your community.

OPENSTREETSPGH

Be a part of the event series that was named “Best Street Festival” in 2016. By taking over an intersection, your business can make the experience your own. Each OpenStreetsPGH event attracts 30,000 people who you can engage with healthy activities, giveaways, or whatever you’d like!

DATES:
  • Sunday, May 27
  • Sunday, June 24
  • Saturday, July 28

PedalPGH

Lend a hand in the region’s largest bike ride! Work with the Bike Pittsburgh team to create a positive experience for thousands of bicyclists while fundraising for safer streets. Help out at a rest stop along the course and ensure that riders stay hydrated. Want to bike with your coworkers? Hand out registration packets before the event and ride PedalPGH for free!

  • Sunday, August 26

Monthly Volunteer Nights

Help keep BikePGH rolling! Take a field trip to our Lawrenceville office and build camaraderie with group tasks of your choosing. You provide the hands, we provide the food and the fun.

Email sarah@bikepgh.org for a Volunteer Night that’s customized to your business.
