Women & Biking Forum

Women & Biking Forum

BikePGH’s Women and Biking Program is inclusive towards Femme / Womxn / Gender Non-Conforming / Non-binary people of all ages and backgrounds. The Women & Biking Program works to encourage this identified group of people to incorporate bicycling into their lives and increase their representation. By opening the discussion about our lived experiences and challenges, we can assess how to better provide support and resources to ride bikes in Pittsburgh.

Saturday, APril 7th, 2018

The 5th Annual Pittsburgh Women & Biking Forum will take place on Saturday, April 7th and feature:

  • Morning yoga *new this year!*,
  • workshops,
  • a keynote,
  • lunch,
  • networking,
  • and an optional celebratory bike ride.

Workshops will feature subjects such as:

  • bike maintenance,
  • bike camping,
  • racing,
  • healthy trail snacks,
  • and advocating for your rights on the road.
Register for the Women & Biking Forum Today

In addition to the Forum, we will be offering a womyn-only City Cycling class the following day, Sunday April 8th. City Cycling classes aim to build skills and confidence on the bike for safer, and more confident riding.

Here’s some feedback we received on our event last year:

“Excellent! Thank you to all the talented people who made this day happen.”

“It was awesome to reconnect with my love of biking.”

“So many great topics… it was hard to choose! Thanks for an enjoyable event.”
