A few weeks ago I biked the South Side Trail to its dead end near the Glenwood Bridge. Nearby, in the gravel, I found an intact, handlebar-mount bike light. Though the battery is nearly dead, it appears to work. Following a bit of research, I found that it was quite a powerful and expensive light.
Identify the make and model of the light and I'll find a way to get it to you.
It's a Planet Bike Alias HID. It's silver. The bottom unthreads and the battery comes out. I have a photo of it on my pre-blog bike website here.
I have the recharger for the battery.
Man, I hope that's my light you found, I've been grieving the loss.

This is Bob and Maggie, who found my lost HID headlight and then went to the trouble of finding me and returning it.
Very nice people, remarkable cyclists (they've ridden that tandem across the country, for instance) and if you should see them around, please extend them every courtesy, they're awfully nice people.
