KangaTek pouches

Dork-tastic, yet practical.

I may need to invest in one.

i like how they try to make it cool with the skate boarder. wearing this with the utilikilt would take it to the next level

erok, I like the way you think.

That would be so nice for my slr and a few lenses. I might just make one myself for the extra dork factor.

@erok, utilikilts are the "Pacific" bicycle of the kilt world.

@joe That was my thought exactly. It could make a perfect daybag.

If someone buys one, could you do me a favor and measure the pockets so we have an idea how much it will really hold?

Uitlikilt cycling clan?

We need to make this happen, just avoid windy days.

Army-navy surplus dispatch bags in canvas duck cloth make DANDY Utilikilt-style sporrans. Good place to keep sundry cycling tools, as well as keeping the front of the kilt from heading skyward.

Note also that the Workman's Utilikilt does have internal snaps, for purposes of modesty whilst scaling ladders and whatnot. And it holds a full sixpack of bottles...

if your're into kilts, Here's a shameless plug to my buddy's site . Kilts made in pittsburgh by a home-brew'n, dart-throw'n, genuine off-center dork programmer... but I repeat myself.

Bah. in regards to kilts, if its not Scottish, its crap(referring to either the modern Scottish kilt or the great kilt, not origin of manufacture).

I've got a black workman's utilikilt and I love the hell out of it. Wicked expensive though.

My kilt has also been a representation of my love for the people of Pittsburgh. When I lived in New Jersey, wearing my kilt would garner stares, offended glares and shouts. I walked into a Dropkick Murphys concert once and within 20 seconds of being in the venue I heard "Nice skirt, fag!".

But in Pittsburgh, wearing my kilt makes for a day of fist bumps, high-fives, compliments and blushing ladies.

Went to a show in East Lib a few years back...me and three buddies, all in workman's kilts and black tees, arms linked and high-kicking like twisted punk Rockettes.

Memories like those are frickin' priceless.
