OT: (Shortly to be) UnEmployed

This is way off topic but I figured I would throw this out there. it seems I will be looking for work soon. The engineering firm I am working for is going to be closing (All four of us including the owners) So if anyone needs a AutoCAD designer with lots of skills and experience Im looking.

where's that morningsider? I cant recall of any firms I know of that are seeking CAD operators, but I'll ask some of the folks at my office if they have any good leads.

Cool. Also give AllTek staffing a call. I'm not sure of their new number, they moved into a new office, they are in Penn Hills. They are a head hunter and just called me last week about a job. Ask for Trish and tell her Doug Hinderliter sent you.

Dbacklover not sure if you ever got familiar with ProE and what your current transportation situation looks like but I know Bucyrus in Houston PA is looking for people. Good luck sorry to hear you guys have to close. I would also suggest Technical Solutions for a head hunter specifically Michelle Flynn. They seem to have better benefits than the other places I've worked.

Never got use PRO E. I have been using Autocad since version 2 and beta tested 2000 taught microstation autocad and personal designer (Pro E's great grandma) Will keep an eye out. Yeah i feel bad about the closing as well but truth be told I should of moved on years ago, I allowed myself to get comfortable and stagnate.

I think comfortable and stagnate are not good qualities in ones life. (as I am learning)

dback - I've used AutoCad, ProE, SolidWorks, the differences are nuances. You'd pick it up easy, so don't let that idea slow you down. The change in commute will probably be a bigger hurdle :D

Hope you find exaclty what you need at exactly the right time.
