Ride tomorrow or Tuesday and look for Batman filming?

Anyone looking to ride around Oakland area with me Monday or Tuesday and see if anything is being filmed? Looking to shoot photos of the filming or at least the cars/set stuff.

No filming on Monday plus I think Tuesday most of the filming might be inside the SEI building.

there was some nice filming today. I got a nice shot of the GPD (Gotham Police Department)cars and they were filming the jail scenes on the steps of a CMU building.

I got there when they were tearing down. I knew I should have just dealt with the heat and went out earlier.

What us SEI, mr marv? Does mrs marv know where we would be able to get close to seeing the set downtown on august 14th for the batcycle?

@ Stefb sorry for the late reply I've been under the weather. All week they have been filming a fight scene in Oakland in front of the SEI, Batman vs. Prisoners. Mrs. Marvelous got some good video and pictures of the fight the Bat-mobile and Bat-cycle. They are filming there again today filming is usually between 7:00am and 5:00pm.

I got some sweet pics and spoke to a really nice english gentleman who built and drove the bat cycles and bat mobile /tumblers. I told him about the bat cycle ride and he was quite interested. He asked a few times when it was and when he left he said "see you on the 14th!" he seemed confident that they would still be filming at 6 or 7pm, but I don't know, since they wrapped between 5 and 6pm the past two days.

So, is anyone actually wearing a costume for the Batcycle? I would consider it, but wouldn't want to be the only one.

I will be. Batgirl. Marko mentioned something about making a cape out of a garbage bag cut in half.

there's a shit-ton of haddad's, universal, and warner brothers trucks lined up along boulevard of the allies from stanwix to wood it seems. i can't believe they drove all those trucks out here from LA for this.

I'm pretty sure that at least Haddad's is a local outfit.

I'll probably wimp out and just do a t-shirt or something. I don't have any current contact lenses and when was the last time you saw a Batman wearing glasses? (Let's see, a 40 year old guy on a bike, dressed as Batman, wearing glasses. Sounds like an invitation for harassment to me.) However, if I were to ever make my own costume, I'd so something like this. Very "realistic".

My original thought was for me to be Batman and to put my son on the the back of the Ute as Robin.

That would be so cool to have your son as robin! I am gonna be a bit hot in my costume. The fabric doesn't breathe. But it is a sacrifice I I'll make.

Hey somebody twitter that Christian Bale guy and invite him to the Bikefest party.

Yeah, I know that Haddad's is the local film production company (they've certainly been very visible the past few years). I just mentally calculated the cost of trucking those Universal & WB rigs all the way over here, and, well... I guess it's still less than the cost of a catering trailer for a one-night shoot of 30 seconds of film

Perhaps they use those shipping containers that fit onto trains and trucks? I'm pretty sure train is till a lot cheaper for bulky, heavy moves.

In case you were wondering Warner Bros. is one of the most environmentally friendly motion picture studios. They created a carbon calculator tool to measure the carbon footprint generated during a production. The company then purchases renewable energy credits and verified emission reduction credits to offset and create a carbon neutral production.

I wasn't even thinking of the ecological aspect. Just the logistical and financial. Guess I'd be a good CFO.
